The buildings that form Charlotte Square were originally designed by the famous Scottish architect, Robert Adam, and were completed in 1820.

In 2012, an extensive project to transform these properties into some of the most sought-after spaces in Edinburgh’s prestigious West End commenced.

Quattro Consult was commissioned to provide civil and structural engineering services throughout the extensive restoration and refurbishment of these period townhouses. In addition, we played a key role in the demolition of existing buildings, and the design and construction the new four-storey office building (Randolph House) in Hope Street Lane which is interlinked to the townhouses by a magnificent glass atrium.

This award-wining development offers circa of 45,000 sq. ft of office space which has been completed to an exceptionally high standard.
